Monastica is located in the heart of Florence in the shadow of its Cathedral, at the Badia Fiorentina, which is in the care of the Monastic Fraternity of Jerusalem

Here you can find “bio” foodstuffs, cosmetics and handicrafts that come exclusively from monasteries in Italy and abroad

Two sisters work here and will welcome you with joy!

A unique and cozy shop where you will find products

from many different monasteries which are the fruit

of silence, prayer and the work of the hands of the

monastics.

These are not manufactured products and for some

items, their production is seasonal.

WHAT WE SELL:

Foodstuffs: Jams, honey, liquors, wines, infusions,

cookies, candies, olive oil, vinegar, vegetable

preserves, red pepper, and bio pasta

Cosmetics: Lotions, handcrafted soaps, essential oils,

shampoo, cocoa butter, perfumes.

Handcrafts: statues, rosaries, incense, ceramics,

notecards

Home-made monastic products: Gersole (liquor

made with rosa canina), rosaries, bracelets, our CDs

and an assortment of books

The MONASTIC’s mission is to make known the work

of monastics.

Our shop is a bridge between the Church and the City.
